Development Production International (DPI) is responsible for Statoil’s existing international comprehensive portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments. DPI focuses on building business clusters and maximizing the value of our producing fields internationally.
Some of the main priorities are to ensure industry leading HSE performance in all our operations and partner operated fields, deliver production and mature new projects. DPI is organized in four regions: Europe and Asia (EA), Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South America (SAM) and sub-Saharan Africa (SAF).

Job description

  • Responsible for security leadership and management in Statoil Angola.
  • Keep an updated overview of security threats for the country, with special focus on areas with Statoil business activity
  • Contribute to Security Risk Assessments and follow-ups
  • Contribute to implementing recommended mitigating measures
  • Responsible for advising the Country Manager on security issues concerning Statoil’s presence in the country
  • Provide Security briefs to local employees and visitors
  • Participate in and be responsible for handling of security incidents in Statoil’s emergency response team
  • Identify and establish a security network in the country
  • Align with security organization of Statoil’s business partners in the country
  • Participate in Statoil’s international security network
  • Prepare security input to Journey Management plans
  • Follow up of security and safety for transportation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience within Safety in projects/operations and/or relevant international business experience
  • Experience from Security and /or projects in Statoil operated activities/Industry
  • International experience and adaptable to different cultures
  • Good knowledge of local security related legislation and practice
  • Portuguese language skills
