Accounts Assistant – Ministry of Hope – Area 47 Sector 5 Lilongwe ( 3 yr contract)
PAEC/ACCA Diploma, At least 3 yrs experience in a busy NGO accounting office, Be a practicing Christian, Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word, Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting package
 
Filing all necessary documents, Assisting in undertaking Financial Audit activities, Maintaining accurate and up to date financial records as required by Management and donors, Assisting the Finance and Administration Manager in ensuring timeliness and accuracy in liquidation of travel and program advances by project personnel, Dispatching cheques and drawing and depositing funds from/to bank as necessary, Assisting the Finance and Administration Manager in budgeting and cash flow forecasting, In close consultation with the Finance and Administration Manager, assisting in ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance with applicable rules, regulations and policies in all project related expenditures, Reviewing expense reports for travel and program, and supporting documents for reimbursement, including workshop expenses, advances and reconciliations, Recording transactions in the original books of entry, preparing payments
