Global Seeds Malawi is a local seed company with a mission to provide high quality, improved and affordable seed for the benefit of smallholder farmers in Malawi, Global Seeds is implementing a 2 yr project called Masoto Foundation Seed Project with the aim of increasing the availability and access to foundation seed of Hybrid Maize and Legume seed to industry players such as seed companies, NGOs, Seed multipliers and related seed projects in Malawi, Global Seeds seeks the services of the following.
Field Technician – 3 posts , Thyolo based
Supervision of farm labourers and all farm operations, Providing extension services to smallholders legume seed out growers
At least a Certificate in Agriculture from recognised college or experience as a Farm Manager under Press Trust (General Farming) will be advantage, Demonstrated experience of Farm Management Skills including working with various on farm machinery and equipment, Motorcycle licence
