Quality Assurance Manager – Lilongwe - PSI Malawi
Training – Develop and over see ongoing clinical training and refresher training for all clinical service delivery teams operated by PSI Malawi, Provide clinical support in the development of training guidelines, operations procedure manuals, clinical guidelines etc in accordance with MoH and PSI guidance, Support the supplies chain management system to ensure all commodities required to undertake clinical service delivery are available, Participation in national and international forum and clinical working group meetings as required
Reporting – Ensure data collection, monitoring and reporting for all quality assurance issues for all clinical service delivery programs, Compile monthly and quarterly Quality Assurance reports for submission to Country Representative, Analyse clinical services quality assurance reports and coordinate ongoing follow-up with countries to address quality improvement needs, Provide leadership in developing an integrated quality assurance system in collaboration with the reproductive health, HIV and malaria and child survival depts, Ensure implementation and tracking of PSI global standards around quality assurance
Review clinical services and quality assurance proposals and contribute to new business development initiatives as needed, Perform other responsibilities as necessary
Successful candidate will have a natural orientation towards capacity building, and be willing to “work themselves out of a job” over time, She/he will be a creative, innovative and strategic thinker and will have excellent communication analytical, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, She/he has a passion for private sector approaches to development, and a proven ability to produce results under limited supervision
Medical Doctor with large experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health, including Family planning, Voluntary medical Male Circumcision and HTC programming, At least 5 yrs experience working on the implementation of project activities for an NGO/INGO, Certificate in implant and IUD insertion and removal and proven experience in service delivery, Experience in a senior management position will be an added advantage, Experience in cervical cancer screening using VIA an advantage, Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills, Prior technical support and/or program implementation experience in HIV clinical services and quality assurance, Familiarity with USAID, CDC, Global Fund and other international donors, Experience and excellence in working with large, diverse teams
