Development Facilitators – 4 – Mponela – Ministry of Hope ( 3 yr contract)
Diploma or Certificate in Rural Development or Agriculture or Nutrition, At least 3 yrs working experience in community development (preferably in an NGO or FBO), Be a practicing Christian, Self motivated and ability to achieve results with minimum supervision, Have valid motorcycle licence
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time, Network and collaborate with other relevant stakeholders in the community, Advising the Project Coordinator on issues of Child protection, food security, spiritual development, nutrition, HIV and AIDS and education, Compiles and produces activity reports, monthly, quarterly and annually to the Project Coordinator, Conducts participatory rural appraisals and regular visit to SHGs, and families concerned for monitoring and impact assessment, Facilitates integration of development issues into SHG programs, spiritual Development, Health and Nutrition, HIV and AIDS and Environmental Protection at community level, Facilitate training sessions on Self Help Groups, Conservation Agriculture, Child Protection, Facilitate provision of spiritual, psychosocial care and support to beneficiaries, Providing technical and extension support to people in the catchment area
