Office of The President and Cabinet: 

Vac. 6/17
Post: Assistant Maintenance Officer (Grade K)

Salary: Within the Grade K salary scale segment

Location : Lilongwe and Zomba

Qualifications
  • Applicants should be in possession of a Diploma in either Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering obtained from recognized institutions.
Duties
  • Maintain inventories of tools, spares and supplies;
  • Assist in the repair of installation of various items, systems/ and or components as may be required;
  • Clean equipment; maintain tools and equipment, etc.
Office of The President and Cabinet: Vac. 5/17
Post : Assistant Printer (Grade K)
Salary : Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Zomba
Qualifications
  • Applicants should be either Senior Print Assistants (Grade L) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or non-serving in possession of a Diploma in Printing obtained from recognized institutions.
Duties
  • Ensure safe custody of raw materials,
  • Typesetting jobs;
  • Format jobs in line with specifications; operate the machines;
  • Bind books, folders, pamphlets, mail boxes, plastic combs, ledgers, programmes, etc.
Post : Principal Monitoring and Evaluation (Grade G)
Salary : Within the Grade G salary scale segment
Location : Lilongwe and Zomba
Qualifications
  • Applicants should be either Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officers/ Senior Economists (Grade H) regardless of experience at that grade or Monitoring and Evaluation Officers/ Economists (Grade I) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade and both groups should be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Economics) obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
  • Provide support in managing all technical requirements for monitoring and Evaluation;
  • Collect information from Ministries on progress in implementing Cabinet directives and National policies; prepare progress status reports;
  • Handle cabinet related correspondences, etc.
Vac. 4/17
Post : Maintenance Officer (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Lilongwe and Zomba
Qualifications
  • Applicants should be in possession of a bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
  • Repair and install new equipment and machines;
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical faults;
  • Identify and source spare parts; coordinate maintenance and repair of machines and equipment, etc.

Post : Printer (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Lilongwe and Zomba
Qualifications
  • Applicants should be either Senior Printers (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or non-serving in possession of a bachelor’s degree in Printing obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
  • Ensure safe custody and efficient use of raw materials; prepare monthly reports;
  • Proof read and edit work to ensure correct spelling or grammar;
  • Rectify anomalies on the job in consultation with clients etc.

Post : Procurement Officer (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Various Ministries and Departments
Qualifications
  • Applicants should be Senior Assistant Procurement Officers (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or non-serving in possession of a bachelor’s degree in either Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration/ Studies/Management or Accountancy obtained from accredited institutions or Graduate Diploma of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (Level Six).
Duties
  • Assist in preparation of Procurement Plan for the designated Procurement activities;
  • Verify cost estimates for designated procurement within budget;
  • Assist in the preparation of simple solicitation documents, etc.
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
