Projects Manager – Logistics Performance Improvement
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Logistics, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:- Determine objectives / benefits, costs and investments and road map of the projects (Road Safety and Operations ) and validate the projects with management
- Plan and execute the projects (including resources acquisition) from beginning to end
- Lead high impact process improvements and utilize structured analysis to transform processes and deliver significant value to the company.
- In coordination with the Business Controller monitor total logistics costs & On Time in Full Invoiced Correctly (OTIFIC), search for service innovation and crass functional process improvements
- Coordinate the Sales and Operations Planning(S&OP) Process to achieve high volumes and customer service excellence
- Through global benchmarking identify and deliver best practices within the OPCO and Logistics Department.
- Drive culture change in the department to achieve an Agile, Collaborative & Empowered Unit.
- Drive fact-based decision making and alignment throughout the department.
Customer Marketing & Retail Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following.
- Development and implementation of the retail strategy to maintain and drive business growth.
- Development and implementation of the marketing plan and relate, communications.
- Delivering on Company priority marketing initiatives for maximum value to customers and the Company.
- Prepare Opportunity and Feasibility studies for new projects and solutions,etc.
- Making periodic assessments of strategic market information which will lead to better understanding of the needs and requirements of the existing and potential clients.
- Interact with various Group and local stakeholders to prepare, communicate and implement Operating Company Marketing Plans
- Anticipate and influence market trends, build competitive advantages and generate the best value propositions to customers
- Define the marketing strategy, and ensure its effective implementation.
- Enhance the development of a customer oriented mindset and organization that is Agile, Collaborative and Empowered
- Implement segmentation criteria and ensure consistency of market segmentation
- Lead the design of the value proposition per segment (products, systems, services, partnerships, distribution/delivery, pricing, branding, communication, etc ) and monitor its implementation
- Implementation of marketing actions arising from Operating Company management cycle (Strategic Review and Performance Plan, Organisation & Human Resources Review, Budget)
- Interact with prescribers (project owners, designers, architects, engineers )
- Systematic and detailed anticipation of the selling process in the prescriptive phase
- Understand market segments and links between specifiers and local clients.
- Follow-up of local conversation of specification into sales
- Manage customer complaints and coordinate with QC to ensure product quality is appropriate.
- Work closely relationship with R&D teams for new product development.
- Formulate & implement ideas to drive growth of business and margin by increasing product range and new product applications.
- Interact with various Groups and local stakeholders to prepare, communicate and implement LafargeHolcims Marketing Plans
- Support Internal Communications, Newsletters, Functions and Employee engagement
- Effective implementation of the marketing plan
Reporting Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following;
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets with sales volumes and prices
- Assist in marketing and sales studies/analysis
- Price Management
- Costing of raw material and stock
- Management of the GIT (goods in transit) accounts
- Prepare daily performance dashboard
- Prepare Monthly Management Reports (MMR), Forecasts and budgets
- Prepare of variance analysis and conducting of monthly cost centre review meetings
- Conduct stock take exercises for raw material, process stock and spare parts
- Tracking of major spending against budget
Assistant Accountant — Fixed Assets and Nominal Ledger
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Tracking of capital expenditure or projects ensuring spending is on budget and on time.
- Timely updating of capital expenditure in the fixed asset register.
- Reconciliation of fixed asset register against the nominal ledger
- Conduct yearly physical verification of the Company assets to ascertain their existence and condition Tagging of all fixed assets.
- Maintaining up-to-date insurance records including endorsements and claims settlements.
- Processing of journal vouchers into the nominal ledger
- Managing systems interfaces
- Assist in preparation of the Monthly Management Reports (MMR)
- Cost variance analysis and Nominal Ledger reconciliations
- Depreciation charge computation in line with Company and Group policy.
- Managing Prepaid expenses and staff float accounts
- To master of the Chart of Accounts and conducting training to relevant stakeholders.
Assistant Accountant - Accounts Payable
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals.
- Resolve differences on invoices ensure their accuracy.
- Matching invoices with orders and GRNs
- Process Invoices for local services and goods supplied to the Company in the Purchases Ledger
- Timely payment to suppliers
- Match invoices against payments and prepare aged creditors listing monthly
- Prepare accruals for services received but not invoiced
- Prepare suppliers reconciliation and resolve all queries.
- Timely prepare VAT returns, payments and reconciliation of VAT account.
- Assisting with design, operational effectiveness and documentation of Accounts Payable business process and controls
- Raising Journal entries for account payable
- Assist with month end closing
