Salary: Within the Grade I/PO Government salary scale
Responsible to: Senior Clinical Officer (Grade H/P8)
Location: Various Health facilities under the Ministry of Health
Qualifications
- Applicants should be holders of Bachelor of Science Degree in the following disciplines:- Clinical Medicine, Paediatric, International Obstetrics and Leadership, Internal Medicine and Surgery from various recognized training institutions or
- be serving Senior Clinical Technician (Grade J/STO) with at least a minimum of four (4 ) years experience at that grate.
Duties
The successful candidates will perform the following duties:-
- Performing both minor and major operations on their own.G
- Ensuring effective case management at health institutions
- Conducting ward rounds
- Providing clinical instructions to interns, qualified clinicians
- Managing the Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Conducting routine district visits
- Shouldering in-service training and research programs
