Purpose of job
To plan, promote, manage, deliver and evaluate events and project outputs, working with partners and stakeholders to meet British Council’s strategic objectives
Context and environment
British Council Malawi has its office in Lilongwe. We deliver a full range of programmes that includes examination administration, Scholarships, school linking projects, and we also manage grant programmes funded by organisations such as DFID. The Programmes Officer is a member of the programmes team, and reports to a Programmes Manager and may be responsible for more than one project.
