Partnership Advisor, Maputo, Mozambique

SSG Advisors is accepting applications from qualified technical specialists in private-sector engagement for an anticipated multiyear, USAID-funded Feed the Future agriculture project in Mozambique.
Responsibilities
The Partnership Advisor will lead the development of public-private partnership initiatives and activities by exploring, implementing, and advocating for opportunities to engage the private sector, public sector, and community groups around agricultural development to address food security issues in Mozambique.
Qualifications
  • Degree in business administration, economics, finance, or another relevant discipline from an accredited university;
  • At least 7 years experience in southern Africa, preferably in investment or economic development, or with business associations;
  • A proven ability to identify and establish high-value partnerships with the private and public sector stakeholders and to leverage private investment;
  • Experience designing capacity building events and facilitating training sessions for a variety of audiences;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English;
Mozambique citizenship or residency highly preferred
