Part-time Volunteer Outreach Officer and Volunteer Researcher Positions
Beehive is a unique new crowdfunding platform launched by former United Nations staff and veteran humanitarian actors created specifically to serve the humanitarian community supporting operations and operational innovation. Beehive is based in San Francisco, California and Geneva, Switzerland. It is a nonprofit initiative staffed entirely by volunteers. We’re helping humanitarian actors experiment with crowdfunding and advancing crowdfunding resources reducing the turnaround time and effort it takes humanitarian actors to raise funds to develop, launch and sustain operations.
Beehive team-members are based around the world. We collaborate using the internet, maintain flexible schedules and contribute as much work as we like. Our platform is still an early beta and we’re looking for more volunteers to help us conduct outreach, raise awareness about our platform and support humanitarian actors beginning to use it to launch crowdfunding campaigns.
Joining Beehive will provide a great opportunity to be part of a Silicon Valley style nonprofit startup and get involved in helping improve humanitarian financing. We’re looking for individuals passionate about humanitarian operations with access to the internet and some amount of free time.
