Assistant Home - Stay Coordinator
Role is to assist in coordination of home-stay families and activities, initial 3 month period, duty station will be in Kasungu
S/he will be responsible for home-stay duties during the Training Program occurring February through May 2016, The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Training Manager and in collaboration with the Home-Stay Coordinator, Office Administrator/Training Secretary, Technical Coordinators and all the other training staff
Applicants should have at least 2 yrs of progressively responsible experience in Cross Culture and Community Health, S/he will supervise all aspects of the planning , implementation and evaluation of the Home stay component of the Pre-Service Training
Degree or Diploma in either of the following: Community Health, Nutrition or Education, Adult training experience, The ability to design and conduct Home-stay orientation sessions, The ability to set up and manage home stays and fulfill any other tasks as deemed essential to training by the Training Manager, Identity appropriate home stays for Trainees and houses for Training staff in the villages, Strong computer skills with knowledge of Window operating system and Microsoft Word, The ability to work as a team member and prior experience working in a multi-cultural setting, Proficiency in spoken and written English, Counselling skills
