Manage the payroll system and ensure the payroll is updated on a monthly basis, Ensure timesheets are submitted in time, are accurate and complete with all required info before they are used for salary processing, Update and manage pension and life assurance by processing new entrants, withdrawals, retirees with pension administratives, keeping in line and updated with pension regulations, changes in pension laws and directives, Responsible for management of staff gratuity accounts and management of the relationship with banks, Processing staff advances, staff gratuity request sand staff loans requests in accordance with policies and procedures, Responsible for management of staff leave system including reporting leave days and preparation of quarterly severance report, Responsible for tracking staff training, staff training grants and staff training bonds, Proper filing and archiving of management payroll and other staff benefits related documents, Compile expats staff costs for submission to DC, Review and update monthly MASM invoices for additions and cessations, Prepare staff terminal dues in liaison with Finance Department, Ensure timely submission of tax returns and payment of payroll taxes
Diploma in Accounting or Human Resources Management with a minimum of 3 yrs working experience in handling payrolls and related human resource work, Good experience in Payroll and other HR systems, Clear understanding of the social economical fabric of the country, Good grasp of the cause and impact of HIV/AIDS, current issues pertaining to Malaria and Child survival, Reproductive Health and other social health issues is Malawi, Excellent oral and written communication skills and negotiation skills, Be a self starter, effective team player and demonstrated verifiable result oriented track record
