Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Malawi Housing Corporation
The Malawi Housing Corporation a parastatal Body which provides Shelter, safety and Comfort to the nation is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the vacant post of Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Will be based at the Head Office, in Blantyre
Assisting the Quantity Surveyor Services manager in carrying out pre-contract services including but not limited to feasibility studies for Project Proposals, Assisting the Quantity Surveying Services manager in carrying out post-contract services including but not limited to compiling cost reports and final accounts for projects, Preparing Budget Estimates, Producing schedule of materials for building and civil engineering projects, Evaluation of claims from contractors, Supervising projects, Any other duties that may be assigned on daily basis
A Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution, Be registered with a relevant professional body, At least 3 yrs of post-qualification experience, Be computer literate, have ell developed interpersonal and communication skills, Be able to perform the tasks as outlined above with minimum supervision
