Chief of Party Malawi Agribusiness

Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Chief of Party position on a USAID-funded agribusiness development program in Malawi.
Program Goal: To increase the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) operating in key agricultural value chains in south central Malawi.
Responsibilities:
*Oversee overall implementation of the project, providing technical direction and financial and administrative oversight to all project activities.
*Serve as the principal link between Tetra Tech and USAID, other donors and projets, local implementing partners, Government of Malawi officials and key stakeholders in agricultural sector in Malawi.
*Ensuretimely completion of technical activitiesand submittal of all project deliverables.
Qualifications:
*Advanced degree in agronomy, agricultural economics, agribusiness, international development, or other relevant fields;
*Minimum Ten (10) years of experience as a Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party and/or Project Director/Manager on large donor-funded projects; experience on USAID-funded projects preferred.
*Minimum seven (7) years of experience with successful agronomy, food security, health and nutrition, or agribusiness programs; some private sector experience with agribusiness development preferred;
*Professional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa required; professional experience in Malawi preferred;
*Fluency in English required.
