Monitoring Specialist, P-3, Luanda, Angola

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Monitoring Specialist to provide technical assistance and advisory in the areas of M&E aiming at ensuring that UNICEF Angola has access to timely and reliable information on the performance of the UNICEF-supported Child Protection programme in the areas of Birth Registration and Justice for Children; He/she will ensure that information be made available relate to progress in implementation as well as to the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of the intervention.

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Chief Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation in close coordination with Child Protection section.

Qualification:• An advanced university degree (Master's) in Social Sciences, Demography, Development Planning, Statistics or a directly-related technical field(s) is required.
• Five years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and international levels in research and/or evaluation. Exposure to and understanding of the UNICEF supported MoRES framework is an asset;
• Specialized training in statistical methods and data management is considered an asset.
• Experience in reporting on qualitative and quantitative analytics;
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
