International Planned Parenthood Federation, Western Hemisphere Region, Inc. (IPPF/WHR) is looking for a part-time graduate student intern to help provide research and writing support to the program that works with adolescents and youth, HIV and gender-based violence in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Organization: International Planned Parenthood Federation, Western Hemisphere Region, Inc.
Tasks:
- Conduct literature reviews and other research on specific adolescent sexual and reproductive health topics;
- Help to prepare presentations and abstracts for national/international conferences;
- Assist the team in preparing funding proposals to donors and other programmatic reports;
- Help to organize and prepare for regional meetings and other project related workshops;
- Translate reports and correspondence into or from Spanish when necessary;
- Assist team in communicating with Member Associations in the region;
- Collaborate with the evaluation team on the creation and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools for the adolescent programs;
- Support other programs as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate student in Public Health or related area.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish.
- Advanced writing, editing and oral communications skills in English.
- Knowledge of Latin America, reproductive health and population issues helpful.
- Well organized and ability to work well independently.
Availability: 10-15 hours per week.
Salary: $18/per hour available.
