7 Offshore Operators/Service Technicians

Job description 
Atlas Copco Specialty Rental Division is part of the Atlas Copco Group. You will be in charge of Offshore operational & maintenance support on compressors & generators for a 7 month project Offshore Angola for DSME, a Korean company.Possibility of contract extension.

Mission 
Your mission will involve maintaining and servicing our rental fleet equipment at the customer’s site: Daily operational support & maintenance to generators & compressors aboard a vessel, on a 24 hours base, 8 hour shifts with approximately 28 days rotations.Operating compressors & generators, attending to breakdowns, management of spares, requisitions to replenish spares. Assisting customer with tasks related to operations.Reporting to customer shift supervisor & Specialty Rental service desk & Business Development Manager. Reporting to customer Health & Safety Officer on board.

Experience requirements 
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a Offshore environment

Knowledge 
Knowledge of Atlas Copco products will be a plus.

Educational requirements 
Qualified Mechanics / Milwriter / Electromechanical TechnicianPreferably with OPITO Bosiete Certification.English & Portuguese speaking.

Personality requirements 
Ability to meet deadlines, whilst achieving high quality work level and a commitment to safety.

Additional information 
Required to be medically fit for Offshore operations. Knowledge of Health & Safety in an Offshore environment.

Atlas Copco Angola is a customer center located in Viana, 40 kms away from the Luanda center and has the responsibility for the Angolan market for MR , CR and CT. The actual main Business Area is CR, representing about 50 % of total turnover. Revenues for the current year is foreseen to be close to MUSD 30 , with 38 employees.
