Minimum qualifications:
- Post graduate degree ( Master or PhD) in Engineering, Wastewater Management, Sanitation, Environmental, Engineering, Hydrology or similar.
- Undergraduate degree (BSc or BEng) in Engineering.
- At least 15 years of professional working experience and at least 10 years of specifically relevant experience working on adaptation to climate change in the water and sanitation sector.
- The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership experience and ability to manage interdisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively.
- English and Portuguese language proficiency is essential for the assignment.
- The proposed specialist must be familiar with the local context and working experience in developing countries.
