Administrative Secretary – Baobab Health – 1 yr renewable contract
Position is funded by the Center for Disease and Control (CDC)
Will be mainly responsible for handling all project administrative tasks of the National Registration and Vital Statistics project, The Administrative Secretary will handle all correspondence for this project, She/he will work under the general supervision of the NRVS Project Coordinator, will ensure that documents, meetings, travel and information pieces of this project are well prepared and coordinated, among other general secretarial roles
Provide administrative and clerical support to depts or individuals, Schedule meetings and arrange conference rooms, prepare agenda and handle information requests, Prepare correspondence and stuff mail into envelopes, Arrange for outgoing mail and packages to be picked up, Greet and receive visitors, Prepare confidential and sensitive documents, Coordinate office management activities and office procedures, Take and transcribe dictation, plans events and volunteer activities, Coordinate travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, prepares, complies and maintains travel vouchers and records, Operate office equipment, such as photocopy machine and scanner, Receive and relay telephone messages, Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system
