MM (Operations) Limited is a unique start-up dedicated to improving the lives of thousands of people in Malawi off the back of a successful, commercially driven, profit making business.  MM (Operations) Limited has built a state of the art food processing factory in Salima, Malawi.  The company is a values based agro-processing business working closely with local communities to grow and process fruit, within the requirements of the Rainforest Alliance international sustainability standards.

Various job opportunities have arisen and MM (Operations) Limited seeks to fill the following vacancies and appoint hardworking and driven individuals to become part of its dynamic team.
Plant Operator - (Re- advertisement)
Those with an MSCE and a National Trade Test Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics will have an added advantage 

Applicants should have a minimum of a JCE and 5 yrs experience in farm land preparation for crop production, He/she should possess basic plant maintenance skills, Candidates should be familiar with operating excavators, backhoe and farm implements such as a heavy duty ridger, He/she should be able to work under pressure and demonstrate the ability to work individually and as part of a team 

Administration – Assist in keeping correct and accurate records of all land clearing procedures such as ripping, ploughing, harrowing and ridging 
Communication – Communicate quickly and effectively with Farm Managers/tractor Driver on targets and challenges faced in the field in order to ensure all are working united towards the same company goals, Quality – Prepare land to exact specification of company stated policy for farming
Risk Assessments – Assess risks associated with land clearance and advise Farm Manager/tractor driver on problems encountered during an operation, suggesting the best approach to achieve desired results

To operate heavy plant machinery to achieve quality and safety standards of operations such as drain digging/cleaning, material loading, an de-stumping requiring the use of a backhoe and excavator
