Honey Products Industries and Impact Agribusiness are startup Malawian social enterprises working to empower young people to participate in agribusiness enterprises while creating triple bottom line social economic and environmental impacts, through the Honey Mini-Franchise Business model. The partners are recipients of the 2014 SEED Africa Awards and Sankalp Africa 2015 Award Finalists. The partners are planning to expand their operations in Kasungu, Nkhotakota, NKhatbay, Mzimba and Rumphi districts. Opportunities for the youth have since arisen in the enterprises as below
Honey Producer Hub Coordinators (Kasungu/Nkhotakota, Mzuzu/Nkhata Bay and Rumphi)
The Hub Coordinator will be expected to work with young people engaged in honey business from production to aggregation. You will be expected to provide training and equipment to honey aggregation located in honey producing rural communities, The Hub coordinator will facilitate linkages of the youth to Honey Products Industries and other business service providers. We are looking for young passionate, entrepreneurial, early stage professionals in any field. Those with knowledge and experience in resources management and/or apiculture will have an added advantage in the initial , successful candidates shall be engaged on an internship arrangement and paid a living allowance, travel and accommodation costs while on official duties
