Senior Technical Advisor, HIV Combination Prevention Programs
Should have substantial demonstrated experience in HIV prevention targeted to vulnerable populations, with substantial experience in at least 5 of the following technical areas
HIV prevention approaches targeting OVC, adolescents and youth, discordant couples and PLHIV, HIV testing and counselling, Positive Health Dignity, and Prevention/Prevention with Positives, Social and behaviour change communications, Community development, Gnder and Gender Based Violence, Quality improvement/quality assurance, Civil soecity capacity building, The us eof epidemiology an ddata in program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, Qualitative research and policy and advocacy
Masters Degree in Health or Social Sciences or a related Advanced Degree relevant to the field of Public Health, Minimum 10 yrs of experience in implementing national, multi-disease health projects, Minimum 5 yrs demonstrated experience in managing and supervising a team, Candidate must also have demonstrated experience in implementing and assessing innovative approaches in HIV prevention and HIV prevention integrated into care and treatment, family planning and other health services, Demonstrated skills in English at level IV or the equivalent, Experience working with USAID and other USG funding, Experience working in Southern Africa, Strong preference for Malawi experience, particularly in Districts of Balaka, Machinga, Phalombe, Mulanje, chikwawa, Nsanje, Zomba and Mangochi
