Program Officer- Administrative and Program Support (1 yr contract, renewable/Machinga)
Reporting to the Country Representative, Program Officer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a trachoma elimination project and will primarily focus on providing administrative and logistical support for program activities including planning, design, implementation and administration
Provide support to prepare annual and quarterly budget and work plans in consultation with the Program Coordinator and Country Manager, Prepare and submit periodic financial and narrative reports for submission through the Country Manager to the Head Office, Assist with all field operations encompassing procurement, travel, transport related to program activities, Provide administrative and logistical support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations, Oversee the usage and maintenance of all equipment including vehicles, Backstop the Country Manager in sharing information and reporting to the Head Office, Carry out any other related responsibility assigned by the Country Manager and support other activities as required by the program management
Educational level required: Minimum of Degree in Social Sciences or Public Health, Previous experience in program coordination in the areas of Public Health or Community Development, Extensive experience working for an international development or community based organisations, Extensive experience in providing financial management and administrative support to field projects, Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with various stakeholders, Proven success in implementing health or community development projects, Excellent financial, accounting and reporting skills as well as exposure in administration of project, Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excellent written and spoken command of English and Korean
Work environment: Office-based with some travel to the field (30% field work), On call: When called upon
