Community Program Assistant
Will be responsible for the implementation of all Community program activities for the attainment of Abwenzi Pa Za Umoyo (APZU) Community Program strategic and goals and objectives
To organise community gatherings on health promotion and disease prevention, To operate the sound system, operate the power system, operate public viewing system, advertise APZU’s social mobilisation events, perform the task of MVC and DJ as needed, Responsible for guarding PA system, generator and public viewing materials, Provide accurate information on PIH services and philosophy when required, To actively disseminate accurate health promotion and disease prevention messages, To work with POSER in the delivery of non-clinical services as required, Responsible for production of weekly, monthly and quarterly report on performed duties, Transmit community feedback to CCP and to APZU senior management on the APZU’s delivery of clinical and on on-clinical services, Provide management with ideas in way to tailor PIH delivery of health services to specific needs of served population based
Minimum of Diploma in Community Development or Diploma in HIV/AID management, Minimum 3 yrs working with the community, Good public speaker and strong interpersonal skills, With good reporting skills (oral and written), Very fluent in English and Chichewa, Able to work during odd hours and ff days, Able to work with respect to patients and poor people, Able to work under minimum supervision, Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing in English
