JUNIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT (Grade B) Ref: 185

The AB Logistics Travel Division in the Marketing & Business Development Department has a vacancy for Junior Travel Consultant on a fixed term contract.
The purpose of this job is to render a travel service to the DOD.
CRITICAL PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Do bookings of flights, accommodation and transport on behalf of customers.
  • Communicate to clients various options regarding their requirements.
  • Adhere to the company�s travel management practices.
  • Take full control of all domestic bus reservations.
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, and transport companies regarding information required by the client.
  • Ensure that all approved travel forms are obtained before releasing travel documents as per the approved travel management practice.
    • EXPERT ABILITY AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • National Diploma in travel and tourism.
  • Travelport/Galileo certificate
  • Fares and ticketing courses.
  • 1 - 2 years travel working experience in a corporate office.
  • Computer literate
  • MS Word
  • Excel
