The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is an international financial institution and a specialized United Nations agency dedicated to eradicating rural poverty and hunger. It does so by financing programmes and projects that increase agricultural productivity and raise rural incomes, and by advocating at the local, national and international level for policies that enable poor rural people to overcome poverty.
IFAD is looking for professionals with strategic vision, a solid team orientation, proven capacity to generate results, and a deep understanding of and commitment to development. IFAD is currently seeking to recruit two professionals for its Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE):
• Evaluation Specialist, P4: A knowledgeable and capable professional who will enhance IFAD’s accountability and knowledge of results by designing and conducting Country Programme and project evaluations. A dedicated and capable specialist who will manage the entire evaluation process and support IFAD’s advocacy for the amelioration of rural food security.
