Sales and Merchandising Executives (Blantyre)

Reporting directly to an established Regional Sales Manager who like yourself has shared the same will for progression.
Main Aim of the Sales and Merchandising Executives
-          Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
-          Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
-          Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
-          Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
-          Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
-          Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
-          Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
-          Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
-          Work closely with visual display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximise customer interest and sales;
-          Producing layout plans for stores, sometimes called 'statements';
-          Maintaining awareness of competitors' performance;
-          Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary;
-          Gathering information on customers' reactions to products;
Sales Executive Skills and Qualifications:

Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Energy Level, Negotiation, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning, Independence, Motivation for Sales
A Professional Marketing or Business Administration qualification required with not less than 5 years practical experience.
