Financial Management Specialist Wanted at Deloitte Malawi

We are seeking qualified candidates for an anticipated Program in support of Financial Management within local assemblies in both long-term and short-term technical and non-technical positions. Deloitte seeks the following candidates on a contract basis for the program period:

Financial Management Specialist

A holder of ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of minimum 8 years professional experience of working on large accounts. Some of the major tasks will include, but not limited to the following:
    Maintain and monitor integrated financial management system.
    Preparation of financial reports and update current reports as necessary.
    Analyze financial records and reports and make adjustments as needed.
    Assist accountants and other accounts personnel on day-to-day financial matters.
    Assist in preparation, completion and review of monthly financial statements/ management reports.
    Assists internal and external auditors in their work.
    Review of journal entries prepared by the accountants before being posted into the system.
Required attributes include;
   Strong written and verbal communications skills.
   Previous experience with donor funded projects is essential.
