Airport Depot Manager

The Job
Reporting to the Aviation Operations Manager, the Airport Depot Manager, will be responsible for the efficient operation of the Quality Assurance System at that site. In particular, the job holder will among others:

Aviation Fuelling Operator – KIA

The Job
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Fuelling Operator will be responsible for routine operational tasks within the depot and fueling of aircraft on the apron in strict observation or relevant HSSE rules and policies. In particular, he/ she will;
  • Carry out early morning sampling of all the tanks, fuellers and filters in the Depot and record visual inspection results.
  • Dip Storage Tanks for closing and opening dips and obtain density and temperature measurements for the purpose of stock control.
  • Safely drive fuellers onto the apron and position correctly to dispense clean, dry and on specification fuel into aircraft tanks.
  • Offload bridgers after carrying out the necessary quality control checks.
  • Load fuellers and observe settling times and take samples for visual inspection
  • Raise flight receipts accurately and log all sales on the Daily Sales Summary Report
  • Update tank status board as per supervisor’s instruction.


    Fuelling Supervisor / Technician
The Job
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Fuelling Supervisor/Technician will be responsible to supervise and operate the shift assigned and takes charge of all operational and related HSSE activities in the shift. In particular, the job holder will among others:
  • Actively participating in all HSSE activities
  • Inspecting and ensuring adequacy and integrity of all airport equipment
  • Planning and executing routine preventative maintenance programmes. Report all defective equipment to the Depot Manager
  • Coordinating acquisition and maintenance of critical spares to reduce equipment downtime
  • Planning, prioritising and implementing day to day operation tasks to ensure on specification fuels and lubricants are delivered into aircrafts on time
  • Product receipting into storage tanks and loading of refuellers
  • Preparing and processing all sales and stock related documents
  • Inspect all the fuelling equipment at the beginning of each morning shift and ensure they are in serviceable condition.
THE PERSON
  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering/Technical field. Motor vehicle mechanics being an advantage.
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Strong HSSE bias
  • Administrative skills
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software
  • Technical background
  • Class C driving licence
