Illovo Sugar Malawi Limited Nchalo operations situated 80km south of Blantyre invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position in the Factory Department

Temporary Draughtsman

Qualification & Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Draughtsmanship

More that 3 years experience as a Draughtsman in a busy Engineering environment.

Duties

• Develops sketches and engineering drawings as required by factory and fields
• Translates engineering designs and concepts into drawings that can be used for reference during project implementation or in future during plant maintenance
• Provides technical advice to engineers and technicians by interpreting the drawings so that works are done according to design
• Facilitates implementation and sustainability and continuous improvement of ISO 9001 and
• Ensures that provision and maintenance of systems of work, plant and machinery are safe and without risk to health
• Maintains an electronic and manual database of all plant drawings for easy retrieval and reference in future
• Ensures that SHERQ related requirements are considered in all business decisions and future expansion projects.
