Position Overview: 
The Audit Operations Manager is responsible for the implementation of the developed audit governance models within their assigned geographic responsibilities for Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE). This includes providing leadership and direction to the QSE Senior Auditors and Audit Process Managers (APM) in the assigned geography.
The Audit Operations Manager is responsible for critical governance of our brands through the unbiased assessments of the health of the business for QSE for multiple Group geographies.
Essential Job Functions: 
Primary Responsibilities

  1. Direct the work of QSE Senior Auditors and Audit Process Managers in all aspects of risk management and governance and ensure their capability.

  2. Support the development and implementation of an annual budget and track monthly Rolling Estimates (RE).

  3. Provide oversight on the execution of the annual audit plan.

  4. Conduct targeted selection interviews to identify group resources for QSE audits.

  5. Manage all aspects of personnel performance and development for Senior Auditors and Audit Process Managers.

  6. Drive and ensure proper execution of the audits to ensure a global approach to meet the Audit Program’s objectives

  7. Provide Senior Auditors and Audit Process Managers with relevant audit information and consultancy during the course of an audit.Interact with the assigned Business Units to provide updates on audit program execution.

  8. Assist in activities to further improve consistency and calibration in the audit execution.

  9. Participate in and monitor the audit program to be in compliance with GAO’s internal management system.
10.Actively participate in global GAO projects to further improve the Global Audit program design and execution.
11.Work proactively with other corporate functions (Food Safety, Standard, IMCR, etc.) in the identification and mitigation of potential risks across the supply chain.
12.Collaborates with the other GAO groups to maintain global alignment and leverage global expertise.
13.Identifies methods to innovate and improve the audit program effectiveness.

Provide support to customers to identify, manage or resolve incidents (e.g., critical emergencies, product withdrawals/recalls, disasters, potential business threats) in order to maintain the integrity of our products and trademarks and to minimize interruptions to company or customer operations.

Specific Skills & Knowledge

  • Principles of Auditing.

  • Requirements knowledge:  KORE, ISO 19011,

  • Food Safety

  • Quality Management Systems

  • Basic Microbiology: Basic knowledge of food and water microbiology used to make judgments about the safety of ingredients, beverages, manufacturing techniques, packaging and storage conditions.

  • Basic Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion (e.g., on time, within budget).

  • Building Technical Relationships: Ability to apply technical knowledge and establish credibility with highly technical audiences in order to build technical relationships that will benefit customers or the Company.

  • Concentrate and Beverage Base Manufacturing: Knowledge and application of concentrate and beverage base manufacturing processes.

  • Beverage Manufacturing: Knowledge of and ability to apply carbonated and non-carbonated beverage processing techniques.                         

Education: 

  • University degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
