Description
· Qualified Accountant with CPA, ACCA, CIPFA, CA, or equivalent qualifications;
· Must have at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the monitoring
and evaluation of public sector accounting including in-depth knowledge of accounts
payables, cash management, commitment controls, bank reconciliation, and
computerised accounting systems;
· Experience of working or supporting a government Treasury department or working
on public financial management project involving a national government;
· Demonstrated knowledge of conducting staffing and management reviews in the
public sector accounting function;
· Related work experience in developing countries in Africa will be an added
advantage;
· Fluency in English.
