ISIS EDUCATION, working with De Montfort University, Leicester, requires from June 2014, an experienced and well-qualified specialist in teaching English as a foreign language to be HEAD OF ENGLISH at the Leicester Centre for International Study (LCIS)
The LCIS provides a new and exciting opportunity for international students wishing to prepare for their bachelor's and/or master's degrees at De Montfort University, Leicester, by taking preliminary programmes involving both academic modules and English language and study skills development in an on-campus learning and teaching centre.
The LCIS is situated at the heart of the DMU campus, occupying dedicated teaching and administrative space in one of the university's most prestigious heritage buildings.
Whether students arrive to improve their English skills during the summer, 2014, or embark on their academic preparation programmes when the centre opens officially in September 2014, English language and study skills will be central to the work of the LCIS and ISIS is committed to blending traditional pedagogy with the latest technology in their delivery.
Applications are invited from language specialists with at least a master’s degree in TESOL or similar. It is anticipated that applicants will have taught English to international students either in the UK or elsewhere.
