Human Resources Human Resources is about creating a winning organisation: generating outstanding business performance through the development of people and teams. So how would you do this? What will you do? You’ll undertake three placements to get a well-rounded view of our people, including time at head office, a factory and an expertise team. Beyond your usual placements, there’s also scope for you to work as a site HR Manager, take on international projects and shape future HR practices from within an Expertise Team. Wherever in the business you work, you’ll be building up experience of culture change, employee relations, leadership development and much more, getting an up close and personal view of HR at Unilever. You will be fully supported in studying for the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualification Who is it for? HR Business Partner: It’s important that our HR service is fully aligned to our business goals. You’ll help implement HR strategy that’s always on the right track. This includes building talent supply, change facilitation, organisational effectiveness, performance improvement, employee and industrial relations as well as human resource expertise.
Learning and Development: By identifying learning needs in our organisation, you will develop initiatives to ensure everyone develops to their full potential.

Organisational Effectiveness: Taking an overview of our organisation, you will specialise in development, change initiatives and structural progress within our business.



Minimum requirement:
Matric with Mathematics and English (No Maths literacy) and;
A Bachelors degree in any discipline with preference for BCom, BBS, BPsych, BSocSc degrees.

All students, Foreign Nationals and SA Citizens studying at a University in SA are required to apply through the SA process.

This makes sense from a logistics and travel point of view. NB. Foreign Nationals will be placed in one of the following African countries: Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, DRC, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya Mozambique, Malawi, Nigeria Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda Zambia and Zimbabwe. Depending on business needs, foreign nationals may be placed in their home country.
