Campus Registrar – Malawi College of Health Sciences
Malawi College of Health Sciences is a parastatal organisation with its central Office in Lilongwe and Campuses in Blantyre, Zomba and Lilongwe, The College is primarily engaged in the training of Health workers
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Campus Registrar tenable at the Blantyre Campus of Malawi College of Health Sciences
To provide Administrative, Human Resource and Managerial support services to all divisions of the Campus
Supervising support staff in administration division, Ensuring that adequate staff welfare is maintained such as internal medical scheme, staff pension scheme, attending to staff housing needs and problems and providing support to staff welfare activities, Maintaining the inventory of assets, staff and students records, Carrying out staff performance assessment in administration division, Participating in recruitment of staff, Handling grievances and disciplinary cases and staff welfare matters, Planning occupational health and safety of staff and students, Assisting in administration of insurance policies, Interpreting Terms and Conditions of service to staff, participating in preparation, implementation and review of business plans, budgets and strategic plan, Participating in procurement activities of the Campus, Assists in the recruitment, registration, examination and discipline of students, Participate in updating of training plans, Management of assets and contracted out functions
Bachelors of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management/Public/Business Administration, 3 yrs work experience, knowledge of labour laws
