Diploma or City and Guilds Part 2 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Water Plan Operation, Must have undergone orientation in water treatment, Must have knowledge of water treatment and operation of rotating electrical/mechanical equipment, Must have 3 yrs practical experience, Must have ability to exercise own initiative and judgement, Must have excellent communication skills, Minimum age of 30 yrs
Caretaker Plumber – Blantyre Water Board
Must have an MSCE with credits in English and Mathematics, Must have a Plumbing Certificate, City and Guilds Technician Certificate/Civil Engineering Certificate, Must have good communication and leadership skills, A valid Driving Licence, Minimum age of 22 yrs, Must have at least 3 yrs experience in plumbing or water engineering
Plant Operator – Blantyre Water Board
Must have Grade 2 National Trade Test Certificate Part 1 City and Guilds Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Must have MSCE, Must have at least 2 yrs experience in water treatment works, Must have knowledge of water treatment and operation of rotating electrical/mechanical equipment, Minimum age of 25 yrs, Must have excellent communication skills, Must have ability to exercise own initiative and judgement
