Human Resources Officer – Malawi Institute of Management – Lilongwe
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager the Human Resources Officer will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resource and Administration Manager in the performance of various human resource functions which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance management, staff welfare, discipline, grievances, monitoring and employee counselling
Will be responsible for but not limited to Maintaining up to date data bank of employees in easily accessible formats, Managing staff leave, Providing secretarial services to the Disciplinary Committee, Implementing personnel decisions, Interpreting the conditions of service and maintaining code of conduct, Implementing all recruitment and selection processes, Handling performance appraisals for junior staff
Ideal candidate MUST have the following
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management obtained from a recognised institution, affiliated to an HR professional body, A minimum of 3 yrs practical experience in human resource function in a busy environment, Must be between 25 and 40 yrs old
