Marketing Officer – Malawi Institute of Management – Lilongwe
Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Business development, the Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing strategies that market MIM both nationally and internationally
His or her primary responsibilities among others will include but not limited to
Developing key corporate messages and selling propositions, Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns against key performance indicators, Producing regular marketing reports, Developing and maintaining existing and new markets within and outside Malawi, Initiating exceptional customer service and client relationship management, developing marketing plans and strategies, Responding to stakeholders and Carrying out any other relevant duties
The ideal candidate MUST have the following
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, plus 3 yr relevant experience or Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of marketing with 5 or more yrs experience in the same position, Must be between 25 and 35 yr s old
Demonstrable ability to develop and impellent marketing strategies and plans, Ability to create a sustainable network of clients, Possess entrepreneurial qualities such as risk taking, innovation, and creativity, Ability to operate within tight budgets, Ability to meet set operational targets, Goo d interpersonal and negotiation skills, Ability to pay attention to detail, Computer literate, conversant with various social media plus MS Office
