Technical Assistance Specialist – 1 post - Lilongwe
The applicant should have a degree level qualification in Social Science Education, Public Health, Enterprise Development, Youth development or any development studies, those with post graduate qualifications in the above disciplines will have an added advantage, The applicant should also have at least 3 yrs of experience as a leader for a complex program that involved partnerships, In addition, s/he should be able to understand the scope of the role and set priorities within one month of taking up the job and start delivering on key performance targets within 3 months
Reporting to the Senior Manager-Child Protection, The Technical Assistance Specialist will have an overall responsibility for coordinating the technical assistance that Save the Children will be providing to the partners that are implementing the Marriage No Child’s Play project in Malawi, S/he will also be the focal technical point persons for save the Children on the consortium in country for the project including providing leadership for timely implementation of the activities, and approved budgets, S/he will also provide guidance to staff and individual partners, coordinate periodic joint progress reviews, reporting and facilitate in-country learning
