RAcE Project Officer – 1 post – Ntchisi – Save the children
The position is available for an initial period of 1 yr, renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
The applicant should have a Diploma in Nursing, Public Health, or Clinical Medicine those with a degree level will have an added advantage, the applicant should at least have 2 yrs experience of direct involvement in the implementation of iCCM programs or community health programs in Malawi with demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with district level MOH representatives, community structures and other district level stakeholders
Reporting to the RAcE Field Coordinator, the Project Officer will ensure quality delivery of community case management (CCM) interventions in Ntchisi, S/he will be responsible for coordination of district level planning, development of the district level project annual workplan, support to implementation, monitoring and supervision of ICCM activities, in close collaboration with members of the district health management teams (GHMTs), In addition s/he will submit activity reports on a monthly and quarterly basis, working closely with communities and more broadly with the RAcE project team on all aspects of project implementation
