Unitrans Malawi Limited, a prominent employer in the sugar logistic industry, wants to recruit a suitably qualified person of Malawi origin to fill the position of Human Resource Officer that has fallen vacant at its Nchalo Depot, Nchalo depot is located 74 km south of Blantyre and within the Nchalo sugar estate
Reporting to the Senior depot Manager primarily, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following
Assist Heads of department at the depot with human resource planning, Recruitment and selection of human resources and servicing day t day administrative functions incidental o human resource management, Coordinating development of human resource and encouraging harmonious labour resource and encouraging harmonious labour relations, Interpreting and advising heads of depts. of organisational policy and policy review, Submission of period reports
Applicants should have a minimum of Bachelors Degree in Human Resource management, 5 yrs hand son experience in a similar position, Must have a thorough understanding of management of organised labour and interpretation of organisational policy and labour laws, Must be computer literate, Knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and Word is essential, Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to meet strict deadlines is a must, Must be able to work under minimum supervision and at odd hours
