The Synod of Livingstonia Development Department (SOLDEV) is the development arm of the Church of Central African Presbyterian Synod of Livingstonia that was established in 1993, SOLDEV is mandated by the synod to facilitate the implementation of community based sustainable projects in Food and Nutrition Security, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Humanitarian Emergency Response, Climate Change and Environmental Management while mainstreaming disaster risk reduction, HIV and AIDS, gender as cross cutting issues, SOLDEV envisages a society of self reliant communities committed to attaining improved sustainable livelihoods and development through collaboration with the Church and development partners in God’s love
SOLDEV wishes to recruit suitably qualified and experienced personnel for the following position
Finance Assistance – Nkhotakota – 1 yr contract – CCAP Development Department
Certificate in Accounting, Diploma in Accounting will be added advantage, 3 yrs experience, Ability to work long hours, Knowledge of computerised accounting software
Preparing payment, requisitions and vouchers, Reconciling vouchers, Maintaining effective filing system of vouchers, letters, memos, etc, Managing the petty cash, Providing logistical support, Managing stores
Results oriented, Self motivated, Honesty and integrity, Attention to detail, Time management, Committed Christian
