Mobisol GmbH is seeking an experienced and versatile head of production to supervise, structure and run its production and logistics operations between China, Europe and East Africa in coordination with the Headquarters in Berlin.
After having successfully installed 3000 live systems in Tanzania and Kenya and proven the feasibility of the concept, Mobisol is now moving into the business at a larger scale and is looking for an experienced Production professional with a strong understanding of outsourced manufacturing, and logistics processes.
Tasks and expected Output
• Plan, organize and control the production process in China
• Develop and maintain product specifications
• Support and supervise the implementation of the production process according to product specifications with our suppliers
• Ensure Production processes to be in line with product specifications, quality control requirements and time lines
• Be responsible for timing and quality of production processes of our suppliers
• Develop, establish and maintain partnerships with key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, consistent quality and delivery, competitive pricing and a shared goal with mutual benefits for process/cost improvements

Requirements
Expertise
• Engineering and/or business degree required
• 5+ years of experience in (global) production control with Chinese suppliers
• Proven ability to transform prototyping to batch production
• Willingness to be commuting between Berlin and China
• Initiative and ability as well as willingness to operate in dynamic environments
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to set priorities
• Good intercultural communication skills
• Engineering and/or business degree required
• 5+ years of experience in (global) production control with Chinese suppliers
