- Reporting to the DCoP, the Agriculture/Livelihoods
Security Advisor must be able to facilitate in preparing standard operating
guidelines for each of the technical interventions such as watershed
management, permaculture, agroforestry, fuel efficient stoves and irrigation.
Lead in integrating technical support into agriculture sector activities,
including plans, targets and process on inter-dependencies of agriculture with
other technical areas (primarily with agribusiness & irrigation areas and
also with livestock, VSL, MCHN). Develop process, targets and deliverables on
climate change related and FFW/CFW areas; develop the system of forming and
managing farmer production groups; input delivery system etc. Support M&E
in developing MIS for agriculture and identify actions that will help to
identify efficiency of agriculture implementation. Provide technical support in
agronomy, transfer of knowledge at community level, training of extension
workers and lead farmers. Lead in coordination with agriculture structures of
GoM. - Job Location
