Post: Controller of Policy and Planning Services
Grade: E/P4
Salary: Within salary range applicable to Grade E in the Parliamentary Service
Responsible to: Deputy Clerk of Parliament
Job Purpose
- Provide efficient and effective strategic support in all areas of planning and development
Duties
- Coordinates policy planning and development initiatives of National Assembly
- Prepare project proposals and other documents to facilitate negotiations with potential donors,
- Ensures that an effective policy planning of development strategy and monitoring and evaluation systems is developed,
- Participates in the preparation of National Assembly budgets,
- Coordinates departmental plans and progress reports
- Facilitates strategic planning processes within the National Assembly to support long term planning
- Advises management on all planning and development matters
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Masters Degree in Economics majoring in Project Management
- With live (5) years’ post graduate experience in Policy and Planning
