Blantyre Water Board is a government-owned institution established and reconstituted under the Waterworks Act No. 17 of 1995 to supply potable water to people of Blantyre City and other surrounding areas. Blantyre Water Board is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position:
Plant Engineer
Applicants must have the following attributes:
Must have knowledge of pneumatics;
Must have knowledge of computer aided data management,
Must have experience in water supply systems, treatment and operations.
Must be 30 years and above;
Must have experience in maintenance planning and implementation,
Must have general understanding of engineering;
Must have 5 years practical work experience;
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering;
Must be registered with the Malawi Board of Engineers;
Must have good communication skills, be able to organize skilled and unskilled labourers and be a self-starter responsible and smart;
Must have knowledge of soft starters.
Plumber
Applicants must have the following attributes.
Must have Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE);
Must be 25 years and above:
Must have Grade One National Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing;
Must have City & Guilds Certificate of London
Must have 2 years work experience in plumbing related work;
Must have good supervisory skills:
Must have valid driving licence
Sales Agent
Applicants must have the following attributes.
Must have Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE):
Must be 22 years and above;
Must have Certificate in Financial Accounting;
Must have honesty and integrity;
