The Catholic University of Mozambique (Universidade Católica de Moçambique - UCM) is searching for an eLearning Developer and Project Manager. The aim of the technical assistance is to drive the development of solutions for training and support of the Centre for Distance Education (CED). The ideal candidate will provide direction relative to the methods, tools, technologies and processes for developing innovative, efficient and effective distance e-learning solutions.

YOUR TASKS
1) Instructional Design:
•Advise the program design strategy and the development of materials.
•Assist in appropriate training solution for coordinators and support staff.

2) E-Learning Development:
•Support the design and development of process for eLearning and blended learning solutions, including instructional writing, simulations and demonstrations.
•Create and maintain authoring storyboard templates and apply adult learning theory to the creation of eLearning and blended learning solutions.
•Assist in publishing content for deployment on a Learning Management System (currently Moodle) and mobile devices.
•Support the design and development of process for eLearning and blended learning solutions, including instructional writing, simulations and demonstrations.

•Maintain constructive working relationships with UCM-team for knowledge acquisition and content validation.

REQUIRED SKILLS
•Degree in Adult Education, eLearning or Instructional Design.
•Experience of instructional design and project management.
•Excellent English and preferably Portuguese or Spanish; German is an asset.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities, skill to use rapid development approach and tools for quick deployment of solutions.
•Experience in learning management systems (LMS) and proficient in MS Office.
•Excellent intercultural communication skills and diplomacy.
•As additional asset: HTML5 development for mobile deployment, Graphic Design, Flash and Web Development background.
