6. LABORATORY TECHNICIAN/DEMONSTRATOR
Duties
1) Organization of physiotherapy practical teaching sessions
2) Physiotherapy practical teaching/demonstrations
3) Maintenance of physiotherapy equipment
4) Management of departmental inventory
5) Management of the CMS
6) Clinical supervision of students on placement
7) Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma in Physiotherapy/Diploma in Rehabilitation
• 2 or more years working experience in a rehabilitation setting
• Experience in use and maintenance of physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment
• Computer literacy – word, excel spreadsheets
• Registered with the Medical Council of Malawi
Preferable:
• Experience of working in a training/education environment
• Self-starter, but able to work in a team
