Programme Manager

Although this is a volunteer role, a generous monthly allowance is paid. Accommodation, airfares, visas and insurance are also covered by VMM.
Background of Chimteka Village Aids and Orphans Coordinating Centre (CVAOCC)
CVAOCC is one of the strategic partners of VMM and is located in the rural community of Chimteka which is located 130km west of the Malawian capital of Lilongwe. The underlying problem in the community of Chimteka is the high incidence of HIV AIDS which deprived 600 children of their parents. The impoverished community lacked the resources, know how and skills to provide adequate quantity and quality of food, water and other products and services to meet their needs.
CVAOCC helps support the orphans and their carers so that they have access to a continuous supply of good quality food and water, education and training up to a secondary level, basic health care and skills to  make a living. More recently CCS has extended its target group to people living with disabilities in the community.
